AIM Training is Hill Country Indoor’s program for individual fitness. AIM stands for Athletes In Motion as each person is an athlete in his or her own way. From a wide variety of group classes to personal and small group training sessions, AIM has something for everyone.

THE AIM CONCEPT

AIM believes that improved function and performance are virtues intended for all. With this in mind, the highly knowledgeable coaches provide science-based programs to enhance total athletic development. Using seven foundational principles, the AIM coaches are able to properly assess, correct and progress an athlete towards improved function and performance based on the individual threshold of success. These seven foundational principles are – Mobility, Strength, Power, Endurance, Change of Direction, Self-Care and Mental Strength. These principles, when built upon, give athletes (of every age and level) the best chances for success. 
In order to put these principles into action, AIM coaches first assess and analyze the individual, to determine a Total Assessment Profile (TAP). Using these results, coaches ANALYZE the data with the latest methods and technology. Once results are analyzed, coaches help IDENTIFY the individualized programs and services for you. AIM coaches are primed and experienced to MOTIVATE and move you properly and safely towards your individual goal, ensuring success throughout the process.

AIM training takes place in one of two performance training centers at HCI. The primary performance center is located on the ground floor of the indoor sports facility. The second location is located underneath the turf field. Both spaces boast cutting edge equipment and a versatile layout for a variety of training purposes. The performance training centers are adorned with turf and performance rubber flooring along with a full rack unit, a reinforced wall, Keiser trainers, custom pull up bars, boxes, sleds, ropes, rowers, bikes and TrueStretch cages. These spaces provide everything needed to stay active and motivated throughout each session and/or class.

Individual personal training provides one-on-one instruction between you and AIM’s highly qualified coaches. This option is ideal for those with specific training time requirements and/or individualized performance goals. Members are able to purchase monthly packages of one/week, two/week, three/week or four/week to keep you consistent, accountable and committed. Each personal training package comes with unlimited Adult AIM Training classes to ensure a well-rounded training and recovery program. Personal training can take place anywhere within the building, from the performance training centers to the membership fitness floor, to the track! Programming is designed around the Total Assessment Profile and your individual goal! Stay motivated, engaged and enthusiastic about your training goals with AIM personal training!

This program is designed for those looking for a group training atmosphere with individualized coaching. Each small group is limited to four individuals, ensuring highly-focused attention for each person. Whether just beginning, looking to restart your journey or seeking out a new challenge, AIM’s Transformation Challenge is for you. Transformation is February’s focus for our new Small Group Classes. This four-week program is specifically designed to guide you on the path of improvement. ADULT AIM TRAINING

AIM Group Training is a membership upgrade that provides an opportunity for everyone to participate in a community environment of structured athletic training, coached by highly qualified and energetic AIM coaches. Limited class sizes allow coaches to adapt and modify movements to each individual, providing a personable experience in a group setting. AIM provides a wide variety of dynamic and positive classes that are designed to challenge every participant. AIM STRONG

STRONG is designed to get you…stronger. Programmed to ensure proper technique through progressive overload, AIM Strong develops a well-rounded and structured training approach to keep you engaged, focused and safe; all while making you stronger.

AIM MOTION

MOTION is all about movement! Come ready to sweat because this class is all moving you in every direction. Circuit-style training, combined with agility and strength, provides a challenging workout for every fitness level. Whether training for a race or for everyday life, AIM’s Motion class is key.

AIM MOVEMENT & MOBILITY (M&M)

MOVEMENT & MOBILITY is similar to Motion, but with a heavy emphasis on recovery, multi-plane movements, total body mobility, injury prevention exercises and functional movement patterns. Get ready to move, mobilize and get back in the game with M&M.

YOUTH AIM TRAINING

Athletes looking to enhance various elements of athletic performance are ideal candidates for Youth AIM Training . Programming typically takes place in three-week segments that take aim at a specific goal, including speed, strength and power. Speed School focuses on improving speed through proper mechanics. Strength Camp emphasizes total body strength by learning and incorporating proper strength training techniques. Power Development enhances power and explosiveness as it integrates rotational power and explosive jumping ability. No matter the sport or goal, these three programs are effective in developing safe and successful athleticism. AIM Youth Training also incorporates specific-sport training, including football, volleyball and basketball training. Whatever the goal, whatever the sport, Youth AIM Training has the program.
