Health and Safety Policy
FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED AT HCI
As part of the statewide mandate issued by Governor Abbott, as of July 3rd!
All individuals over the age of 10, including employees, customers, invitees, and contractors, are required to wear face coverings over the nose and mouth while on the premises.
*The face mask requirement does not apply to any person with a medical condition or disability that prevents wearing a face covering or any person who is consuming food or drink, or is seated at The Café to eat or drink.
SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS
Individuals must continue to practice safe social distancing while on the premises and even when face coverings are worn:
Employees should not work within 6 feet of one another, except to the extent necessary to provide services to customers.
Patrons should maintain 6 feet of separation from other patrons who are not in their household, to the extent feasible while on the premises.
Individuals who refuse to comply with this health and safety policy will be asked to leave the facility.
NOTICE AND SIGNAGE
Notice of this Health and Safety policy will be posted for all individuals to review upon entry into the facility.
At this time, only members will be allowed on the premises!
Locker rooms are officially open for member use. Men’s locker rooms will be closed for cleaning from 2:30-3:30PM daily.
Attendance will be limited in compliance with Governor Abbott’s phased approach.
Ages 65+ ONLY will have access to the track from 2-3PM Monday through Thursday to protect those at increased risk.
Social Distancing is requested. We have provided floor markers around the facility so everyone can maintain six feet of distance.
All members are requested to clean equipment after each and every use.
Members are welcome to bring face masks.
Members are encouraged to bring a sweat towel from home. We will have towels on hand, if needed.
Children ages 10-14 must have a 1:1 ratio with a parent or legal guardian on the fitness floor.
The track will be one way, with arrows designating the counter clockwise direction.
We continue to ask that all members stay home when sick, clean equipment after each use and wash hands frequently.
STUDIO classes are accepting reservations via the Member App!
Most STUDIO classes will be moved back into the Studio rooms in June. However, Spin and Cycle classes will remain on the court. Some classes will be held on the turf field and parking garage. Exact locations can be found in the Member App.

Spin and Cycle STUDIO attendees can check-in at Guest Services prior to class.

2020 SUMMER CAMPS
We are excited to announce that summer camps are back! We have created and implemented procedures to keep you and your little ones safe and healthy.
Social Distancing Strategies
All staff will be wearing masks during each camp.
All staff, campers, parents and individuals who enter the camp program must first complete a health screening (more on that below).
We are reducing the number of campers in each group and campers will be spaced out appropriately during activities.
Groups will remain with the same staff and campers throughout the week.
Snacks are provided but campers must bring their own lunch.
Enhanced Cleaning + Disinfecting Efforts
We will increase hand washing and hand sanitization for both campers and staff.
We will frequently clean and disinfect all frequently-touched surfaces.
Modified Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Campers and parents will complete a health screen prior to checking in and/or picking up. This health screen includes a health intake form and temperature scan. Campers will not be admitted into camp with a temperature of 100º and up, if he/she has COVID-19 symptoms, or if he/she has been in confirmed contact with COVID-19.
Specific instructions for each camp will be emailed to those registered.
