Summer is in full swing and, with that, Hill Country Indoor’s Summer Camps! We love having our facility bustling with campers all season long and want to make sure you all have your questions asked before the first day! If we haven’t answered all of your questions here, send us a note at the bottom of the page. Our goal is to make this the best summer yet! So leave your sunscreen at home (after all, we are indoors!) and read on for this year’s most frequently asked questions and their corresponding answers.

Q: What is the difference between Wipeout Camps and Sports Camps?

A: Wipeout Camp is our traditional day camp program, while Sports Camps are sport-specific programs.

During Wipeout Camp, a variety of activities will be offered throughout the day, ranging from traditional sports, games, arts and crafts, rock climbing and more! Each week, Wipeout Camps will feature a different theme, from rockstar to ninja warrior!

Sports Camps will provide sports-specific instruction on learning new skills, polishing old skills and scrimmaging, all while providing knowledge of the sport in a fun, engaging environment!

Q: Do I need to register?

A: Yes! Space is limited, so please register early! Campers must be pre-registered to attend. No drop-ins will be available.

Q: When do I need to register?

A: Registration closes the Wednesday prior to camp starting if the capacity has not been met beforehand. If the camp reaches capacity, please add your name to the waitlist. If space becomes available after registration closes, the waitlist will be called.

Q: What happens if I miss a few days during the camp?

A: We’re sorry you missed the fun! Unfortunately, we do not prorate or roll over missed camp days.

Q: Do I have to drop my kid off at 9am and pick him/her up at 4pm?

A: Summer camps are here to provide flexibility for YOU. While standard camp hours are 9am-4pm, you are free to sign your little ones in or out at any point throughout the camp times. Need to go to work early or stay late? We also offer extended hour upgrades, including 7-9am drop off times and 4-6pm pick up times.

Q: There are so many camp options – what sets HCI’s camps apart?

A: All Wipeout and Sport Camps are fully indoors and free from the summer heat! Convenience and quality are important at HCI. We provide both lunch and a snack, prepared daily by our on-site chef, and maintain a low camper to staff ratio to ensure attention to individual needs are not only met, but exceeded!

Q: What can my kiddos expect from camp?

A: VARIETY! Each week, Wipeout Camps will have a different theme with corresponding activities while Sports Camps will work on the sport specified in the camp description. Our goal is for campers to try new activities, learn new skills, make new friends and have fun!

Q: What do I do if my child has a food allergy?

A: Although we do provide lunch and a snack, we cannot accommodate dietary requests/substitutions. It is recommended that children with special dietary needs bring their own snack and lunch. We will provide a weekly food menu prior to each camp to prepare parents.

Q: What do I do if my child takes medication or needs other special accommodations?

A: Children taking medication must have a medication authorization form completed. Please contact the specific camp director (located in the online camp description) in advance for all special accommodations.

Q: Does the sibling discount apply if my kids go to different camps?

A: The sibling discount is only applicable to siblings who attend the same camp during the summer.

Q: Can I get a refund if we do not attend?

A: Cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Youth Programs Director two weeks (14 days) in advance. Requests submitted less than two weeks are not eligible for a refund. Unattended camp days can not be prorated or rolled over.
