This 60 minute session will help prepare you for maintaining your fitness level as your body changes. Instructors walk you through each trimester with safe and effective modifications to continue exercising and target the most important muscle groups needed for delivery and recovery. Exercise throughout your pregnancy is beneficial to promoting a healthy mom and baby before, during and after delivery; let us help you unravel the myths and misconceptions of what is safe and effective. After your private session, clients are welcome to use our pre and post natal modification booklet during group classes.
No two bodies are built alike. Privates are a great way to asses your postural alignment to correct muscle imbalances, alleviate chronic aches and pains, and rehab new and old injuries. With a personalized program designed specifically for your needs, privates are great for beginners, those healing after surgery or injuries, and for clients who prefer privacy and one-on-one attention. We currently program for professional athletes, seniors, pre and post-operative clients, pre and post-natal clients, as well as those needing an effective program for busy travel schedules. Our customizable techniques include: Pilates equipment, Pilates mat, Barre, Yoga, and Cardio options.
If you have a group of 2 – 4 people that are interested in training on the Pilates equipment or in one of our specialized techniques then please contact us and we will set up a day and time that accommodates your group.

We recommend reserving your group classes online so that you are guaranteed a spot in class. You may also call, reserve in person, or walk-in. We are unable to guarantee walk-in spots. Reservations can be made online up to thirty minutes before class. A credit card is needed to secure your reservation and you will be responsible for late cancels and no shows.
We understand schedules get busy and things come up. However, in order to ensure a fair opportunity for all, we will enforce our cancellation policies in order to continue offering our clients the best service and a fair and seamless check-in process.
All group classes (except spin) require a 2 hour cancellation policy. Spin classes require 8 hours cancellation. If you do not cancel in this time frame you will lose your class.
If you are on an Unlimited option and you do not cancel in the appropriate time frame for group classes and spin, you will be charged a $15 late fee.
Privates require a 12 hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel in this time frame you will lose your private session.
If the class you want to take is full, our system will offer you the waitlist. If you register your name on the waitlist you will receive an email confirming if you get in. Once you are registered for the class you will be responsible for any late cancellation or no show so please check your email frequently.
If your class package has expired you may buy another package of the same or higher value and we will roll over your expired classes into your new expiration date.
If you are moving or have gotten injured we will allow you to transfer your remaining classes to a friend – current expiration dates will apply. We will not be able to extend class packages.
We recommend pre-registering online. If you are unable to do so, then please arrive 30 minutes early to orient yourself with the building, fill out new client paperwork, and speak with the instructor about previous injuries and/or restraints. New clients will not be allowed to enter the class after 5 minutes from the start time.
For courtesy and safety reasons, clients are not allowed to enter classes after 10 minutes from the start time.
Where to park: Clients may park in any uncovered parking spot around the building and in the parking garage located at the front of the building.
How to get to Dancers Shape: Enter HCI through the far left glass doors and head upstairs. Let the HCI membership reception desk know that you are registered for a Dancers Shape class. They will direct you to our space.
What to wear in:
Barre, Pilates, & Yoga Classes – wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in, like yoga pants and tops. It is helpful for teachers to see body alignment to properly adjust positions for the most effective and safe workout. You may be barefoot or wear gripper socks.
Cardio & Cardio Dance Classes – wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring your tennis shoes.
Spin Classes – For safety, wear fitted leggings, capris, or shorts. Loose and flared athletic pants can get caught in the bike pedals. If you own your own spin shoes bring them. Our pedals are SPD and Look compatible. If you do not own your own spin shoes you may rent a pair at the Dancers Shape front desk for $2. If this is your first spin class, please come 15 minutes early to be properly and safely set up on the bike.
Studio Etiquette: No open containers are allowed in the studios – water bottles with screw on lids only. If you forget your water bottle, you may purchase one at the front desk.
No cell phones or purses/bags allowed in the classrooms.
Keyless lockers are located outside the studio, on the track, and in the locker rooms where you may lock your personal belongings. Dancers Shape is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
