Open Level

Set in a state of the art spin room, this heart pumping rhythm based cycling class will blast calories in just 45 minutes. The combination of theatrical lighting and exhilarating music offers an experience like none other in the area. Come tap it back and push it up as we dance our way to a stronger more confident you.

Shape

Open Level

The studio’s signature barre technique class is one hour and incorporates the Principle of Overload and Interval Training for maximum results in the least amount of time. By utilizing light hand weights, the ballet barre, personal body weight and other accessories, clients work the core and joint stabilizers as well as the major muscle groups. A soothing period of stretching follows to build and maintain a lean, nimble body. While specialized movement targets all “trouble areas”, customized music selections accompany each interval to make a challenging class enjoyable. Teachers move throughout the classroom to offer personalized corrections and proper alignment in order to protect the body.

Express Shape

Intermediate – Advanced Level

An amped up 45 minute version of the studio’s signature barre class. Expect the same burn and toning effects you feel in Shape while adding non-impact cardio moves.

Graceful

Beginner – Beginner/Intermediate Level          

A slower and modified version of Shape, this class is recommended for anyone new to the Dancers Shape technique, those just beginning an exercise program, or post surgical clients. The Dancers Shape technique is gradually introduced to students so that they understand the important benefits of proper body alignment. This allows students to build strength and gain a full knowledge of how to increase and decrease modifications to suit their individual needs for maximum results. Lasting one hour, this class helps clients strengthen and rehabilitate their bodies and joints for pain-free movement.

Restorative

Basic – Beginner Level

Designed for the ages 60+ (but certainly not limited to that – injuries and first timers welcome) this class is for clients looking to stay active and add longevity to their bodies. Modifications have been made to the exercises to adjust for common degenerative joint disease (such as arthritis, osteoporosis, back pain) and knee and hip replacements. This class gradually introduces mobilization and strengthening techniques to increase stability and range of motion for the joints and spine. Additionally there is an emphasis on balance and body awareness – functions critical for preventing falls. Improved circulation, posture, and bone density are additional potential benefits of this one hour session. Come and try this class made especially for the fastest growing segment of today’s population.

Core

Intermediate Level

This one hour, full body, power-packed mat class takes the classical principles of Pilates and incorporates them in a quick paced flow of the Dancers Shape philosophy and approach to fitness. Set to customized music, the mat choreography has been tweaked to focus on functional movement to build strength throughout the core, while stabilizing the pelvic and shoulder girdle. This stabilization process frees all peripheral movements from chronic weakness, resulting in a strong and flexible back, abs, seat and thighs. Prepare to work. This isn’t your average mat class.

Athletic Conditioning

Intermediate Level

 Created for NFL football players, this class focuses on balancing strength and length in opposing muscle groups throughout the body to promote optimal sports performance. By training the deep stabilizer muscles to work in conjunction with the large muscle groups, clients will experience improved balance, control and coordination. The results can lead not only to a higher level of performance but also to a longer career by preventing injuries and rehabilitating old ones. From the professional athletes to the sports novice – this class will offer cross training benefits at any level of your game.

Power

Advanced Level – Must take 3-5 Shape classes before attending.

Power is a cardio infused athletic class that will blast calories, increase metabolism, tone the entire physique and improve overall fitness level. This one hour high energy class is for those who crave a higher cardio burn without the harsh impact of running and jumping on outdoor surfaces. Designed to intensely challenge the cardiovascular and strength systems, this class combines a variety of movements and props. Resistance bands, gliders, balanced postures, and kick-boxing are all part of Power. The Dancers Shape stretch series follows to maintain joint and muscle flexibility. This class is performed on the studio’s sprung floor which helps lessen the impact on the spine and joints.

Core/Cardio

This one hour dynamic class will offer the perfect balance of core exercises and cardio movement. Pilates based exercises will be tweaked on and off the mat with small props, and calories will be blasted with intense cardio while using gliding discs and therabands. Balance challenges and interval training will hit all body parts for a well rounded workout.

Groove

Beginner – Intermediate Level

Wear your tennis shoes and follow along with our fun cardio dance class! Think Zumba meets MTV dance for all levels. Learn three to four simple dance routines by breaking down choreography and progressively adding on 8 counts. Have a blast burning calories with styles like latin, hip hop, Broadway, and the latest MTV music video moves. No previous dance experience required. This class is a complete follow along to get your heart rate up and to burn those calories in a fun stage-like environment and on a joint conscious sprung dance floor.

Vinyasa Yoga

Open Level

The ancient practice of Hatha yoga is fused with the Dancers Shape’s contemporary approach to movement to yield a unique connection of mind and body. In this alignment based vinyasa class, clients will explore and cultivate a balance of strength and flexibility through the connection of breath and movement. Ideal for all levels, clients will leave feeling both challenged and rejuvenated. This class is a great compliment to all other Dancers Shape classes.

Recovery

Open Level

The Recovery class was created for anyone seeking a rejuvenated body. This one hour class combines the principles of Yin yoga and myofascial release techniques to aid in soft tissue therapy and muscle recovery. Clients will hold relaxing yoga poses for a sustained period of time to liberate the joints from tight muscles. They will also incorporate self-massage techniques utilizing tools to help break up and hydrate the fascia for efficient muscle repair. This class may serve as an athlete’s “rest day” or an injury prevention class, and will leave your body feeling elongated and de-stressed.

DONATION MEDITATION

Every Sunday afternoon after vinyasa yoga, join us for a donation based meditation. In the half hour together, we will explore methods to calm and focus the mind before moving into a guided meditation. Donations will benefit a different charity or non-profit organization each month. Cash only – suggested $10 donation or the amount you are able to give.

Please reserve space for the full number of guests that you are inviting. We want to ensure that enough space in the facility is reserved to accommodate all of your guests comfortably.

  • You will only pay for the number of participants that exceeds the number in the package you select. You will be charged for each additional guest based on the per participant cost for that package.
  • We understand that changes happen! If you need to add guests to your party, simply let us know at least seven days prior to event so that we can adjust accordingly.
  • No outside food or drinks are allowed in the building with the exception of the birthday cake. Birthday cake is not provided although Hill Country Indoor has partnered with H-E-B to offer you with a discount on cake orders for pick-up on the day of your party. Details coming soon!
  • Waivers are required for each participant and can be filled out online (coming soon) or in person at the facility.
  • Payment: We require a deposit equal to 50% of the expected total in order to reserve your event. We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards. Checks are not accepted. The remainder amount of the event balance is due on the day of the celebration.
  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule your event, we require 14 days advance notice from your event date. If you submit with the required 14 days advanced notice, your deposit will remain as a credit on your account to be used towards a celebration up to one year from the original date of your event. If you provide less than 14 days notice or do not show up on the day of your event, your deposit is forfeited.
