At Hill Country Indoor, all sports utilize paid coaches in each program to ensure quality and consistency in youth instruction. We intend to create a caliber of product that is unmatched in the area and its foundation lies within our Coaching Staff and Sport Directors. Each sport has a dedicated Director to ensure that all sessions, games, and seasons run efficiently. Each Coach will manage one or more teams and may also be available for one-on-one sessions in their respective sports. Our Performance and Fitness Staff complements our Coaching Staff brilliantly to provide a diverse offering for both youth and adult athletes.
Director of Basketball - Blaine Bowman
Blaine oversees the Hill Country Indoor Basketball program and is responsible for the development of all athletes and coaches. Not only will Blaine be involved in the creation and execution of the program, but he will be thoroughly involved as a coach for youth leagues, camps, clinics, combines, and HCI Elite Basketball. Blaine received both his Bachelor’s and his Master’s Degrees in Sport Management from the University of Texas. During his studies, he participated in UT Basketball as a practice player and was employed as a Graduate Assistant for the Texas Women’s Basketball Team during his graduate school career. Blaine was instrumental in a program that recorded a winning 31-5 record with one Elite Eight and two Sweet Sixteen appearances. Blaine will bring a detailed, fun, and competitive approach to Hill Country Indoor Basketball in order to help athletes reach their full potential on and off the court.

Coach Elmore joins the HCI Coaching Staff in the Basketball Department with high school playing experience and four years of coaching experience. As a player, he made the All-Region team and helped win the first Regional Championship in Basketball for his high school since 1988. His passion for coaching comes from his experience as a player and his desire to pass along the benefits of team sports and Basketball to young players in our community.

Coach Sawyer brings a multitude of player experience to his new role as a Basketball Coach at Hill Country Indoor. With past training at Point Guard College, Freak Athletics, and “ILOVEBASKETBALLTV”, Kevin has been coached by a variety of high profile individuals. He proceeded to excel at the collegiate level in Montana at Rocky Mountain College. Kevin will contribute greatly to the quality of Basketball Department at HCI and he has big goals for the facility as a whole.

COACH RYAN WRIGHT
Coach Wright joins the HCI staff as a Basketball Coach and has extensive experience with a variety of youth teams. While attending the University of Texas at Austin, Ryan worked as a student manager with the Texas Women’s Basketball Program. While working and studying year round, he also coached at St. Austin Middle School and with the Central Texas Tarheels. During 2016-2017, he served as the Girls Basketball Varsity Assistant Coach at Regents School of Austin. Coach Wright will bring a player-focused, character building style of coaching to the HCI Basketball Department.

COACH RYAN KLEPSER
Coach Klepser is entering his sixth year of coaching, with a season already under his belt with Hill Country Indoor Elite. From Sealy, TX, Ryan played 4 years of varsity basketball before receiving offers from several DII and DIII universities. Ryan is a 2016 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Civil Engineering Degree and currently works as a Roadway Engineer for a consulting firm. While at UT, Ryan was a member of the Texas Basketball Practice Squad for 4 years in which he was able to learn under several high profile college coaches. In 2015, he began coaching with Austin TRUE, an established Select Basketball Club, in the fourth and seventh grade age groups. Over the course of 2 years, his teams have had a combined 80-25 record, including an Elite-Eight appearance at the Primetime National Championships. Ryan brings a high level of energy to practice/games and is also passionate about the growth and progress of his players and teams. He believes in an up-tempo offense and structures his practices to focus on key skills that will help players succeed at every level. Ryan’s goal is to see ALL of his players be successful young men in life as well as leaders on the basketball court in junior high/high school. He is looking forward to the opportunity and challenge of developing the top talent in the Austin area.

Mark “Rock” Jaimes joins Hill Country Indoor as the Director of Football with extensive experience in select sports as well as strength and conditioning for youth athletes. Rock received a B.S from Texas A&M-Kingsville where he was a student-athlete on the football team for all four years. After graduating, he went on to hold upper-level strength coaching positions at Southwest Texas State University, Nicholls State University and Adams Course. He then turned to entrepreneurship and started Rock Strength and Conditioning with which he coaches numerous young athletes participating in a variety of sports. In total, Rock has 21 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach and will maintain an organized and durable football program at Hill Country Indoor.

COACH DUSTIN BOREN
Coach Boren joins the Football Department at Hill Country Indoor with extensive knowledge and experience in the sport. He was an All-American Freshman and a 3-year starter at Texas Lutheran University. Dustin’s coaching experience began in Comal ISD and includes specialty work with Defensive Backs and Linebackers. He also spent time as a Defensive Coordinator at John Marshall High School in San Antonio. Most recently, Dustin served as an assistant at Lake Travis High School, coaching both Football and Track & Field. His knowledge of the athletic environment in Travis County, combined with his extensive experience in football and in strength and conditioning, makes him a strong asset to the facility and our youth programs.

Coach Nelson brings a strong background in human performance and coaching to the Football program at Hill Country Indoor. As a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Sports Performance Specialist, his experience will enhance the training of youth athletes and drive them towards success as individuals and on their respective teams. Raven has worked before in a sports and fitness facility and can bring insight and operational knowledge to help programming run smoothly. As a Football coach at HCI, Coach Nelson will develop player skills, performance and knowledge of the game across all levels of play.

Coach Martin joins HCI as a recent graduate of Lake Travis High School and a player on its State Championship Football team. More than familiar with one of the most premier high school football programs in the state of Texas, Daniel will bring a fresh, young perspective to the development of youth players within our Football Program.

Adam was a college, high school, and club coach/director in Omaha, Nebraska before moving to Austin in June 2017. He played for Bellevue University and earned his BA in Sports Management with a Business emphasis. Adam currently holds his USSF "C” License, NSCAA “National" Diploma, and Coerver Youth Diploma. His experience with youth athletes has facilitated a desire to develop each individual athlete in all aspects of play, training and life off the field. As the Director of Soccer, Adam will help oversee all soccer programming at Hill Country Indoor.

DIRECTOR OF VOLLEYBALL - ALLIE ROSEBERRY
Local Austinite Allie Roseberry is the Director of Volleyball at Hill Country Indoor. She also served as the head coach of Texas Eclipse 15 Under Armour for the 2016-2017 club season. Allie’s father, Greg Watts, started Texas Eclipse in 2003 and she has been involved from the beginning. As the Director of Volleyball, Allie will be responsible for not only the club teams, but for the oversight and development of a full scope of volleyball activities including adult and youth recreational leagues, tournaments, summer camps, private lessons, and skill-specific clinics. Allie played volleyball and ran track at Westwood High School while also playing for various volleyball clubs in the Austin area. She went on to play outside hitter at Abilene Christian University where she graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Allie has a love for volleyball and a passion for coaching because she believes that so many wonderful life lessons can be learned from sports.

Coach Bates joins HCI as a Club Volleyball coach. Her experience in youth coaching combined with her extensive background in Psychology and Counseling positions her for success with the athletes at Hill Country Indoor. Katie earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Kinesiology from Hendrix College. She proceeded towards acquiring a Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. She spent time coaching club volleyball in Arkansas before settling in Austin, TX with Texas Eclipse.

Coach Conwell brings a fresh and energetic approach to the volleyball program at Hill Country Indoor. She has a season under her belt as a Texas eclipse coach and was moved up to coach the 14HCI White team. She graduated from Cedar Park High School and currently attends Texas State University studying EC-6 Bilingual Education. Throughout her studies, she has been an Assistant Teacher at the Primrose School. We look forward to seeing her and her team grow within HCI.

Coach Cajayon has coached volleyball at the adult and youth levels for seventeen years. Joining HCI as the head coach of the Texas Eclipse HCI 16U Under Armour team, Reggie has a phenomenal opportunity to create growth and success within our program. In addition to coaching teams, Reggie will manage and develop other coaches within the HCI Volleyball Staff. She currently works at Texas State University as the Program Manager for statewide youth tobacco prevention efforts. Her vision with HCI is to develop the facility into a true resource for overall health and wellness.

Coach Biddle joins HCI as a Club Volleyball coach with the HCI 11U Black Team. She’s has 11 years of coaching experience and is excited to become a part of the new facility. Currently a 7th grade Science Teacher, Justyne has 20 years of teaching experience and an ability to connect with her players on the court. Coach Biddle knows that the value in the sport extends beyond the wins and losses and is looking forward to developing the character and integrity within each player.

COACH AMYLYN NEIL
Coach Neil brings expert coaching experience as well as administrative and operational knowledge. After coaching with Front Range Volleyball Club in Denver and Texas Elite Volleyball in Houston, Amylyn moved back to Austin and opened op Austin Elite. As the owner and director for 6 years, she gained invaluable experience working with athletes and families. Amylyn then built and opened the Westlake Athletic Community Center and proceeded to run day-to-day operations and the Volleyball Program. Coach Neil will be coaching the 13U Division with Texas Eclipse at Hill Country Indoor.

As the head coach of the HCI 15 White team, Coach Miller brings a passion to coach these girls outside of her full time position at the Texas Capitol. She has degrees in Political Science and Philosophy and has been coaching competitive volleyball for 5 years. Her coaching tactics originate from accountability and positive reinforcement and she's excited to utilize the new facility to develop her players.

Jim has a diverse background in the high school coaching world; with 4 years in Volleyball and several years in Football, Track & Field, and Soccer. Ryan grew up in Austin, TX and began playing lacrosse as a freshman midfielder in High School. He graduated and went on to play at Texas State University as both a midfielder and a Long Stick Midfielder. In 2006 while playing for TXSU, Ryan began coaching for his former high school and its budding youth program. He has been working with youth programs of all levels for the last 11 years.

COACH GABE GONZALES
Gabe Sepulveda has been involved with central Texas lacrosse for over 15 years. As a product of a military family, Gabe spent a portion of his life living in Harker Heights, TX where his father was stationed in nearby Ft. Hood. Without any active programs in the area, Gabe co-founded the Harker Heights high school lacrosse team. He spent one year coaching the team after graduating. He then went on to play MCLA lacrosse for four years as a defenseman while attending the University of Texas at Austin. Gabe stayed involved with lacrosse by beginning to coach after graduation. He found his true passion for the game in coaching youth lacrosse and has been doing so in the greater Austin area for over 7 years.

COACH CHRIS BOCKLETT
As a player, Chris was rated as the No. 7 recruit in the country by Inside Lacrosse following his career at John Jay High School in Cross River, N.Y. He was a two-time high-school All-American in l acrosse and a one-time A ll-American playing quarterback records in both categories. He continued playing lacrosse at The University of Virginia where he was a three-time All-American and won the NCAA national Championship in 2011. He is now currently coaching varsity and youth lacrosse in Austin and playing professional lacrosse for the Denver Outlaws on the same team as his two older brothers Mike and Matt Bocklet. Upon graduating, Chris served as the offensive coordinator for Wheat Ridge High School, which earned the Colorado 4A State Championship in 2013. In 2015, he moved to Dallas and coached at Allen where he helped the program win their first playoff game in school history and make it all the way to the state semi-finals. Chris and his family currently run X10 Lacrosse which is composed of lacrosse day camp throughout the country and two sleepaway adventure lacrosse camps in Carbondale, Co and Adirondack, NY.

Matt Herring is the Director of Performance at Hill Country Indoor . Matt spent the past 15 years as a college and professional strength and conditioning coach. He started his career at Oklahoma State University where the Cowboys won the Big 12 and advanced to a Final Four in NCAA Basketball. He then joined the staff at the University of Florida where they won multiple SEC titles and back to back NCAA National Championships. Herring moved on to the NBA as Director of Athletic Performance for the San Antonio Spurs, with an NBA Finals appearance. He returned to Austin as Director of Performance with Driven Performance and he is CSCS, MSCC, USAW and CES certified. Matt will oversee all aspects of performance in sports and team training.

Bryan Lewis joins the Hill Country Indoor staff with extensive experience and expertise in Strength and Conditioning Coaching and Athletic Performance. After receiving his Master’s Degree in Human Performance from the University of Florida, Bryan established himself in the field at Coastal Carolina University and The University of Houston holding impressive positions at both locations. He has spent the past 3 years as the Director of Athletic Performance at Griffin Elite Sports & Wellness Center in Kentucky working with both adults and youth in individual and team settings. His experience has allowed him to coach athletes ranging from novice to professional in a wide variety of sports. He has certifications including NSCA, CSCS, TPI Level I & II, CAFS (Gray Institute Certification in Applied Functional Science) and 3DMAPS (Gray Institute Three Dimensional Movement Analysis Performance System). Highly qualified, Bryan brings a fresh and modern approach to the Performance programs at Hill Country Indoor.

Jessy holds the position of Director of Membership at Hill Country Indoor. She will be in charge of bringing new members to the facility and ensuring that they have the best experience possible in and around the membership areas. After graduating from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Sports Management, she has acquired an extensive array of experience working with health and fitness facilities in central Texas. Jessy’s passion for sports and fitness has its roots in her participation in multiple sports starting at a young age. Her dedication to improving the lives of those around her through training and wellness initiatives makes her an invaluable asset to HCI. Her vision for HCI involves creating a facility that serves as the center of the community and is a place where the whole family can come to be active and entertained.

Tom joins HCI with the responsibility of managing and coordinating all programs on the indoor turf field and the indoor courts. He comes with 25 years of experience working for the City of Austin as a Division Manager of various pools, parks, tennis centers and senior recreation centers. His passion for fitness lead him to acquire numerous CrossFit and Training Certifications and he ultimately owned and operated several CrossFit gyms in the area. At HCI, Tom will manage referees, direct program placement on the sport surfaces and ensure that all programs run smoothly.

Rachel brings a diverse array of experience in both the service industry and the entertainment industry. At Hill Country Indoor, she will direct and manage the Family Entertainment Center which includes the playscape, the climbing area, the concession area and all birthday parties and events. Although she left Austin to study Advertising and Public Relations at Texas Christian University, she returned and worked with AdPeople Worldwide, Blazer Tag, and the Westlake Athletic and Community Center. Her responsibilities will include maintaining a fun, controlled, and safe environment within Hill Country Indoor.

As the Concessions Coordinator at Hill Country Indoor, Ashlea will manage concession staff training, ensure a high quality standard in food preparation, and grow the concession menu with a variety of local offerings. She has a Bachelor of Science in Archaeology and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition- Dietetics. Her goal is to create a positive experience for all members and guests at Hill Country Indoor.

Youth Programs at Hill Country Indoor are in GREAT hands! Courtney Rimkus joins the team with a strong background in Early Childhood Education, local small business ownership, and private tutoring. Local to the Lake Travis area, Courtney went on to teach in the Eanes District and earned Educator of the Year at Barton Creek Elementary School in 2016. She also serves as the Owner and Director of Camp 512 which is a popular and successful camp organization for kids. Her certifications include Early Childhood Education- 4th Grade Generalist, 12th Grade Special Education, and 12th Grade English Second Language. Her passion for enriching the lives of children follows her to Hill Country Indoor where she will create, direct, and maintain incredible programs throughout the year.
