The Director of Performance at Hill Country Indoor, Matt Herring, is responsible for all aspects of performance in sports and team training with Athletes In Motion (AIM). Prior to HCI, Herring spent 15 years as a college and professional strength and conditioning coach. He began his career at the Oklahoma State University where the Cowboys won the Big 12 and advanced to the Final Four in NCAA Basketball. He then joined the staff at the University of Florida where they won multiple SEC titles and back to back NCAA National Championships. Matt then went on to become the Director of Athletic Performance for the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs. He returned to Austin as Director of Performance with Driven Performance and is now the Director of Performance and Athletes In Motion at HCI. Herring holds his CSCS, MSCC, USAW and CES certifications and believes in pushing athletes of every level to their full potential through a proper mixture of movement, strength training and mobility.
