DARI BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS LAB

DARI is a state-of-the-art Biomechanical Analysis system used to optimize movement. With 8 individual cameras, the marker-less motion capture system allows Hill Country Indoor to identify and analyze your movement profile in order to transform your motion and improve performance. DARI, when added as an asset to a fitness or performance plan, will take the possibilities for achievement to a new level.

DARI is the world’s only predictive motion analytics system

DARI captures and processes data in seconds

DARI generates customizable narrative reports

DARI Motion Health is a revolutionary biomechanical analysis technology harnessing the power of markerless motion capture and sophisticated cloud-based analytics to transform human movement. Using DARI, you can use objective movement data to proactively help your players optimize performance, avoid injury, and streamline recovery.

Optimize Performance

  • DARI is focused on creating solutions to capture all forces, angles and velocities generated in sport-specific motions, and more.
  • By identifying movement asymmetries that impede peak performance, DARI helps you unlock an individual’s full potential.

Assess Risks & Reduce Injuries

  • In a five-minute scanning session, DARI Motion Health identifies musculoskeletal asymmetries and poor movement patterns that indicate a greater risk for future soft tissue injuries.
  • DARI’s targeted, actionable reporting makes it easy for you to suggest corrective activities that assist with player health.

Streamline Injury Recovery with Objective Data

  • Use DARI to establish a pre-injury baseline and then objectively assess a post-injury rehabilitation progress—using the individual’s own movement as a reference.
  • Enhance athlete experience and improve compliance by providing objective progress data that shows them exactly where they are on the road to recovery.

The DARI Difference

Freedom from Constraints

DARI is the first system ever to provide full body kinematics and kinetics without time-consuming markers or force plates, allowing you to scan up to 50 people per day with a single system.  DARI’s powerful cloud processing delivers data in easy-to-read reports just seconds after an assessment, allowing you to work with individuals as soon as they step out of the capture space.

Track Over Time

DARI’s markerless motion capture system is accurate to the millimeter between sessions—far better than any other motion capture platform on the market. That gives you the power to objectively track health and performance over a period of time.

PHILOSOPHY

At Hill Country Indoor, we believe that improved function and performance are virtues intended for all. Based in science and guided by the truths of human movement, our programs are designed to enhance total athletic development. Our seven foundational principles allow the staff to properly assess, correct and progress an athlete toward improved function and performance based on their individual threshold of success. The performance staff at Hill Country Indoor are held to strict standards of education, certification, and experience to ensure the highest level of coaching possible during each session. We hold our coaches to a high moral standard. They WILL coach with passion, positivity and purpose. Each athlete that trains at HCI will be appropriately progressed and motivated to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small.

HCI’s Foundations of Athleticism:

The Foundations of Athleticism are the seven qualities, that when tested and strengthened, give athletes the best chances for success.

Proper function begins with proper mobility. Without proper mobility, incorrect movements and partiality to particular sides or muscles develop into dysfunction over time. No matter your sport or physical goals, mobility will be a necessity.

All things in sport and performance are built on a solid foundation of balanced total body strength. Having a body that has consistent strength from right to left and front to back is a crucial factor for proper function.

Explosiveness is the key to success in sport, and teaching your body how to be efficient in producing power is the only the start. Proper joint sequencing to generate power as well as utilization of the body to decelerate the power created are both paramount.

Having a high threshold of cardiovascular endurance is a trait that is oftentimes overlooked by athletes. A solid base of cardiovascular endurance allows an athlete to create a competitive advantage over others who become tired in the later minutes of competition.

The ability to plant, cut, turn and change directions efficiently and effectively is the basis to all sports. Understanding proper mechanics in conjunction with the physical capabilities required to execute these movements will create an advantage for the athlete.

Investing in yourself with proper nutrition and a recovery program are the intangibles most athletes disregard. Challenging your body with demanding training sessions is only part of what makes up an elite athlete’s training regimen. The remainder comes from proper nutrition choices, timing and progression as well as proper and effective recovery modalities. All athletes train hard, but great athletes recover and eat properly to complement their training sessions.

Mental strength is an aspect of great athletes that consists of coach-ability, problem solving and mental resiliency. The ability to focus on coaching cues and physically put those cues into action is a sign of a mature and mentally strong athlete. The ability to work through problems and to mentally stay engaged when things are not going your way are elite level attributes that are able to be honed and built upon over time.
