7 Summer Camps & Programs to Keep Your Child Active in Summer 2022

Worried your kids will miss the joy of sports this coming summer? HCI offers various summer camps throughout June, July, and August for kids of all ages to stay active and social while out of school.

WHY HCI SUMMER CAMPS?

We asked our Sports Director Adam Hooi about what sets our camps apart from others: “The facilities, equipment, and staff set us apart from other summer camps. The kids get to use many of the spaces in the building including the Courts, Indoor and Outdoor Turf, climbing walls, and sand. We have high quality and unique equipment ranging from common sports like football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, to non-traditional sports/games like archery tag, Ninja Warrior, 9-square, pickleball, dodgeball, and spikeball. We take pride in trying to hire and train the best possible staff members that truly care about the development of kids and the impact a camp experience can have.”

WHAT WILL KIDS GAIN FROM OUR CAMPS?

“Our emphasis is on character and technical skills. Within a group camp environment, the true character of each individual will be shown through competition, collaboration, and being challenged. Many teachable moments will occur for our staff to help guide and educate campers. For camp activities, especially sport-specific ones, technical refinement is one of the main goals. We hope that campers can learn and improve upon their skills during a week of camp and are motivated to improve even more at home.” With that in mind, here’s a masterlist of all the upcoming camps and programs hitting HCI this summer.

Wipeout

HCI Wipeout camps are a unique opportunity for younger children to strengthen their creativity, leadership and teamwork skills all while having a blast with other kids their age. Children must be at least 5 years old and no older than 10 to attend a Wipeout camp; registration costs $375 for HCI members and $425 for non-members. Sign up here.
